What Is the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival?
The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival is a yearly festival hosted during the Spring at Epcot. It started back in 1993 making this years’ festival the 26th year! It is a festival that celebrates the season of Springtime, flowers, and gardening that happens all around the world. Regardless of where you are in the world, landscaping and cultivating nature is a part of every culture. This years’ festival takes place between March 6, 2019-June 3, 2019.

What Can One Expect at the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival?
Each year the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival brings back classics as well as fresh innovations. Of course, the main exhibit in the Flower and Garden Festival is the flowers. All throughout Epcot, the park is decorated in stunning flowers and topiaries. In addition to the beautiful displays throughout the park, you can get some fresh food at the Outdoor Kitchens, catch a nightly concert at the Garden Rocks Concert Series, or even snag some Blooming’ Merchandise!

What’s Fresh at This Years’ Festival?
If you have been to the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival each year, you may be wondering what exactly is new for this year’s’ festival? For starters, there are four new Outdoor Kitchens! Normally, there are 14 kitchens total (Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market; Fleur de Lys; Florida Fresh; Hanami; Jardin de Fiestas; La Isla Fresca; Lotus House; Northern Bloom; Pineapple Promenade; Primavera Kitchen; Taste of Marrakesh; THE SMOKEHOUSE: Barbecue and Brews and The Honey Bee-Stro Hosted by National Honey Board).

The four new Outdoor Kitchens are Arbor At The Gardeners Terrace, Flavor Full Kitchen Hosted By AdventHealth, Citrus Blossom, and Trowel & Trellis Hosted By IMPOSSIBLE Foods. In addition to the new Outdoor Kitchens, a brand-new topiary makes its debut resulting in 25 different topiaries to see! The new display is themed to Bo Peep and her Sheep from Disney/Pixar’s film, Toy Story 4 that hits theaters June 21, 2019. While waiting for Toy Story 4 to premier, little ones can have fun playing at the all-new Toy Story 4 themed playground!
