18 Mar DCL Announces Sailings for Summer of 2022
Disney Cruise Line will be setting sail for some exciting itineraries in the Summer of 2022! We will see the return of some old favorites, with the Disney Wonder returning to 7-night Alaskan sailings out of Vancouver and the Disney Fantasy sailing primarily on 7-night Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral. The Disney Magic will return to Europe for the summer months, and her schedule will include new ports of call in Greece, Portugal, Latvia, Norway, and Sweden!
Perhaps the most notable change is the move of the Disney Dream to her new home port in Miami. The planned itineraries include Western Caribbean and Bahamian sailings, as well as the much-beloved “Double Dip” with two stops at Castaway Cay. The current schedule does not include any mention of the highly anticipated Disney Wish. The latest plans have indicated that the Wish will set sail in the “summer of 2022”, after being pushed back from her January launch date. The move of the Dream to Miami seems to point to the Wish coming to Port Canaveral. Do you think the Wish will take over the 3 and 4-night rotation the Dream usually sails?
Booking for Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club members begins on Monday, March 22, 2021 for platinum-level guests. Gold members can book Tuesday, silver on Wednesday, and booking for the general public begins on Thursday, March 25, 2021. Happy sailing!
