28 Feb Mardi Gras at Universal Studios Orlando
It is Mardi Gras time again! But guess what??? You don’t have to make the trek to New Orleans to experience it. At Universal Studios Orlando, it’s Mardi Gras every night from February 4- March 25, 2017.
Head to the French Quarter where you can hang out and take in the sights and sounds of New Orleans, watch the action, and listen to some great live music.
Every. Night. You can meet people dressed up in their Mardi Gras best costumes and get your picture taken with them.
You can sample amazing N’awlins style food and drinks like Shrimp Po’Boys, Spicy Jambalaya, Red Beans and Rice, Sweet Beignets, Specialty Cocktails, Beer, Beer, more Specialty Cocktails, and Beer. Just in case I forget to mention it there is also some great Beer to purchase. It is Mardi Gras after all, Florida’s Biggest Party!
When the sun sets get ready for the Mardi Gras Parade. I did mention that this happens every night, right? The confetti will fly, the many, many, many strands of beads will come at you, and the music will make you think you are right in the middle of New Orleans.
On select nights you also have the opportunity to see one of the many touring headliners on the Music Plaza Stage. Bands such as Collective Soul, Olivia Newton-John, UB40, All-American Rejects and others will take the stage and perform their hits.
Did I mention that ALL of Mardi Gras, including these amazing concerts, is INCLUDED in your Universal Studios Orlando park admission? It is. Amazing, I know.
